Venice is my kind of vacation city. It’s just the right size for walking, easy to navigate despite the alleys and canals, and every turn is just as pretty.
I forgot about this: we met, saw or heard other Singaporeans every other day–in churches, on trains, etc. One perk: when we arrived at the train station in Venice, we were going to buy tickets on the water taxi to get to our hotel when a Singaporean guy approached us to sell us tickets at half price. Upon hearing that we’re also Singaporeans, he gave the tickets to us for free. Hurray.
The Rialto. The mention of Rialto will always remind me of Monday Morning 5:19.
Yeah, I guess all the waterways look the same.
Fun on the ferry coming back from Murano.
